Masters of Science in Church/Nonprofit Management
Kevin’s background in church and nonprofit management uniquely equips him for his role as an advisor to nonprofits, institutions, and individual investors. Before co-founding Lily Wealth Management, Kevin operated a nonprofit consulting firm facilitating the start-up and incubation of hundreds of nonprofit corporations. Following the start-up of these apostolates, Kevin successfully guided a number of his clients in strategy, visioning, marketing, and fundraising efforts. Kevin is well equipped to work with clients in identifying creative ways to improve fundraising efforts, strategic planning, and executing multi-faceted strategies. Kevin continues to offer creating funding solutions to nonprofit clients through Julius Capital Partners (juliuscapital.com).
As part of the nonprofit management process Kevin gained more than a decade of experience working with endowment funds. In 2012 Kevin got licensed as a stock broker to manage these endowment funds for his clients. Kevin holds his Series 66 and is one of a few financial planners with a dedicated interest in Christian nonprofit and endowment fund financial planning. Kevin holds both the Accredited Asset Management and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designations from the College for Financial Planning.
Kevin believes that what he has learned working with institutional nonprofit and endowment fund clients can be applied to retail clients for a similar benefit - namely discipline, strategy, and tactical management. In addition, Kevin's specialization enables him to give value added advice to individuals and families regarding charitable giving techniques that minimizes taxes and offer benefits to both his clients and their beloved charities.
A graduate of Villanova University (MS: Church and Nonprofit Management) and Franciscan University of Steubenville (BA: Theology/Psychology), Kevin takes his Catholic-Christian faith seriously and has been passionately serving others, especially the poor and vulnerable, since an early age. His contributions to charity have not gone un-noticed and Kevin has been recognized by President Bush, the U.S. Senate and House or Representatives, and the Vatican. He has also has won numerous awards such as the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award, Prudential Spirit of Community Award, and Sodexo STOP Hunger Award. Kevin serves on the Executive Board for Missions of Hope (missionsofhope.org) and Board of Directors for The Sacred Page Project (thesacredpage.com). He resides in San Diego, California with his wife Kara and son, Sawyer.
